Clear Signal Video is a home business that my wife and I conceived in 1986 as the field of rail related videos was rapidly expanding. A small sideline at first, it grew into a full time home based operation in a few years, eliminating the necessity of tiresome commutes to jobs in the city and enabling us to make our living within a few steps of our own kitchen. We live in an old, partially remodeled log house not far from Antietam Battlefield.

We do not run a store; all operations are handled by mail. I do the video selection and customer relations while Mary Jean handles the shipping and receiving end. Our two kids run in and out of the office when they are not in school, and the TV is generally tuned to Weather Channel when we don't have a railroad video running.
